Sorry, but that's (often) the usual rubbish from people who don't
understand RPM.  "finding all the needed RPMs" - uhm, what's so hard in
installing what RPM asks for?

And the RedHat PHP supports mysql just fine.  You simply need to install
the php-mysql package, and you're set.
