I'm running:
Apache 1.3.22
Horde 1.2.7
IMP 2.2.7
PHP 4.0.6 (compiled with UW-IMAP2001 + ohters) + apc
modssl_2.8.5
Cyrus-imapd 2.0.16

On a Sun Fire 280R (4Gb Ram) with about 13K users.

Opening a mailbox with 9749 messages takes about 1sec.
