session ids

Here's the scenario, an existing ASP based website of our company has its
own login page, I'm planning to make a link inside it towards IMP without
login in IMP. They provided a
URL(http://000.000.000/sample.asp?username=<variable>&sessionid=<variable>)
for me to check the users USERNAME and SESSIONID, and they are asking me to
provide the URL for them to link the ASP to IMP(this will return 0 or 1).
How can I configure IMP to work in this manner? Thanks for the help in
advance.

Yeah, I can understand that. It's just frustrating as a user trying
to find out which fixes are in which branches... I'm not sure there
is a good answer that doesn't cause too much of a burden on all of
your wonderful folks doing all this wonderful work.
I'll simply ask that, if possible, everyone make a good faith effort
within the bounds of reason and knowledge to state which branches
changes are in (hows that for clear wording?)
Like I said, I was biting my tongue, as I knew this would be problem.
However, it really is an issue for casual users, and/or people new
to the mailing lists who don't even know there are multiple branches
or what the branches are/mean.

<tongue-in-cheek>
In return, can we ask users to specify which version _they_ are using when they
ask questions?
;)

You need to use a few more words for me to be sure, but sounds like you want to
modify redirect.php to use check the session. You will need a way to obtain the
user's password, though.

You are correct; I apologize.

I will take a look at this and make sure it doesn't break non-Exchange users;
if that is the case, I should be able to apply it before the 3.1 RCs.
