sent folders

i have setup imp and the system works but i have one problem i cannot resolve.

when i set the folder to store sent mail it always creates it as "INBOXSent 
Items" but when i create a new folder
it is created correctly as <folder name>

i have turned on "save a copy in" but when i point it to my correct sent 
folder the letter being sent doesn't write
to the correct folder but i can move mail to the folder it will instead be 
stored under "INBOXSent Items"

if i delete the folder "INBOXSent Items" it will be recreated.
