[imp] Imp & PHPNuke?

Greetings,

Did any one succeed in integrating imp/horde & PHPNuke [5.5] or knows of any
pointers to accomplish this? 

What I am trying to [would like to] accomplish is to run imp 'within' the
PHPNuke frame, integrate the authentication and have a 'block' to display the
current users new-email icon.
