[imp] Attachments fail, uploads don't (was: All but attachmen ts)

To tackle my attachments problems, I'm thinking about stepping up to IMP 3.1.
Is this a foolish idea?

Here's why:

I've created my own script to upload to the server, and it works without a 
problem, so in my script, it's the same webserver, it's the same php 
configuration, so the only thing that's left is horde and imp. That's why I'm 
thinking about an upgrade.

Anybody did this yet, is it easy, or is it a pain in the *** like the php 
upgrade someone talked my into earlier ;)
