[imp] Question about the segfaults

I've never seen seg faults on php 4.1.x -- are you sure this is the cause?

The patch does fix seg faults in the 4.2 line though (which I have experienced
myself).

Yes, or wait for a 4.2.3 RPM to come out.  (You can't use the php from 
RedHat 8.0 since it is for apache 2.x)  Right now I don't know of any 
patched 4.2.x rpms for RedHat 7.x.
