[imp] quotabar courier-imap ldap

i have imp 3.1 with qmail openldap and courier imap.

quotabar.php needs

$imapadmin = ''; 
$imapadminpass = '';

will the quatabar work with my setup?
the LDAP scheme doesn't have the imap admin user.
you need to log in as a regular user to get in properly.
or has anybody rewrote the script to work with this configuration and any other 
options?
