[imp] sent_mail and others

Hi!


i would like to store the sentmail and others in a different directory than
the users home!!
how can i get the user login name?
something like this:
default->sent_mail = '/store/mail/' . $USER . '/sent_mail'
what is $USER, i cant find this variables....

Other:
Does somebody do with EXIM and IMP to store all emails and data, login, auth
in
an SQL database?
I try to do this, beacuse i have so many user at linux system level, and
now i should use database, and hold only the admin users!
Exim store email alias and email data in SQL, user names and passwords in
sql,
proftpd use sql, and etc.
any experience? drop me an email please!
