RE RE: [imp] login speed is very slow

i use courier-imap,but when i compile the php+horde+imp,i use 
imap-2001a(UW-IMAP).

and when i telnet gao.jnu.edu.cn 143£¬it will last for 25s or so after the 
Courier IMAP server ready come out.






In the case of courier-imap, which applicable directory would it be?

I had a similar problem once.

I use UW IMAP and the permissions on my /var/spool/mail directory were
751.  I had to change them to 1777.
Once I did that, my login time was almost instant.

I don't know if this will help you, but it's hard to tell with the given

information.
