Thanks Michael,

I downloaded this version of PHP 4.3 from the PHP site, so there should not be
any fault there. Below is my config line:

./configure --with-apxs2=/usr/local/apache2/bin/apxs --with-gettext --with-xml
--with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql-standard-4.0.10-gamma-pc-linux-i686/ --with-gd
--with-mcal=/usr/local/libmcal --with-jpeg-dir=/usr/local/lib
--with-zlib-dir=/usr/local/lib --with-openssl --with-imap=/usr/local/imap-2002b/
--with-java=/usr/local/j2sdk1.4.1_01/ --with-mhash --with-mycrypt

I use http-2.0.44, mysql 4.0.10.

anything you see not fit here?

best wishes
michael
