Then send us a patch.

If you didn't see errors, it's because you have PHP configured not to show
them to you, and you didn't check apache's error log, or wherever you have
PHP set to log errors.

If you wasted time, it's because you didn't look at imp/test.php, which
points out the need for IMAP support immediately, and because you didn't
read imp/docs/INSTALL, which also tells you you need IMAP support.
