[imp] howto disable attachments when we do a 'Save a copy in sent-mail' ?

i think the subject line explain clearly my question.
problem is, when we sent out mail with attachment(s), and check the 'Save a copy in sent-mail', the mail is saved alright BUT also with the attachments.

appreciate if somebody could show how we can just save the mail _without_ the attachments as doing so consume quota very fast.
