[imp] Default identiyt

Good afternoon .
I log in using a login_name without    @domain.it
When i compose an email and i have not created any particular user, Imp 
select the default user using the login_name.
In my case the email is sent with the identity field: name@ , and when i 
receive it the From field is name at syntax.error
I know that all the default identities has the same domain.
Where can i configure it?
