This is probably a silly question or repetitive but how do you plan to do imap
authentication?  You can/should use the same for both imap/IMP and horde which
can be sql, ldap, system at the least and if you are using HEAD/current there
are many more.  Any will work.  It is more a question of personal
preference/religion.  I personally use ldap but I've tested several others.
