85K+ users and climbing on two frontend system.  Machine are pretty 
high-end, but we don't use PHP accelerator.  The frontends are also MTA 
(Postfix) and Cyrus Murder frontends.  Usually, there are about 200 
httpd process on each machine.  The load barely ever get above 5.
