[imp] Cannot compose/send message in Fedora 19

Setup:
My server is running Fedora and Horde/imp installed with pear.

After upgrade to Fedora 19 and Horde/Imp as well from some 5.0beta to 
the latest stable I have troubles sending mail:

1. in the minimal and smartfone modes mail sends successfully (so I 
conclude that my config is working)

2. in the basic mode, compose window appears, but pressing "send 
message" button does not work.
Window remains open, message is not sent, in maillog message about imap 
(not smtp) connect/disconnect, in apache log read

3. In the dynamic (=auto) mode, pressing New message button results in 
new window with "loading..." forever. Apache log reads

/horde/test.php does not show anything unusual.
Tried fresh pear install of Horde/imp on another Fedora 19 machine with 
the same result.

What is wrong?
