Thanks, looking at this now. However, it looks like there are some 
files missing:

? SyncML/ResultsSender.php
? SyncML/Device/Synthesis.php

Remember that cvs diff won't include missing files when you're using cvs diff.

Well, it may be a matter of optimizing the way that the sync client 
looks up information from the various apis, or it's own datatree-stored 
info. Perhaps we can batch the lookups, etc. It'd be helpful if you 
could trace where the performance problems were so we knew where to 
start.
