One more step closer it seems. Thank you again. I've searched extensively 
for prior report of this new error that I get when issuing a search.. to no 
avail.

[Wed Mar 12 15:24:07 2003] [error] PHP Fatal error:  Undefined class name 
'string' in /usr/local/apache/htdocs/horde/turba/lib/Turba.php on line 168

That is after searching for anything in the aforementioned LDAP directory, 
when using 'objectclass' => '*'   If I remove the objectclass line, the 
error disappears.
