To take this a step further, are there any plans to implement addressbooks,
along the lines of current Shares? An administrator could define at a
minimum,
a storage backend (SQl, LDAP, etc.), configure a global addressbook, and users
could create any number of personal addressbooks as shares, in the storage
backend. Since the addresbooks would be shares, Horde Permissions could apply
to them, giving the ability to share addressbooks with other users or groups,
just like calenders, notes, and tasks.

I'm thinking the concept of Global Shares would be useful too - they aren't
owned by anyone, per se, but can be acted on like a user share, which initial
permissions assigned by the Horde Administrator (think corporate calendar,
global addressbook, resources for scheduling, like rooms, etc.)
